Critical Mineral Impact Strategy Development & Implementation Support

Supported in the development and articulation of an ESG strategy for a lithium mining company, to reinforce its ambitions of becoming a leading player in the energy transition agenda. The support extended to the creation of an implementation architecture and system which enables the various mine sites to drive execution of initiatives while promoting transparent communication and alignment. The mandate included exploratory discussions with several potential investors.

ThirdWay Partners supported the structuring of a ~US$200mn government-backed green infrastructure fund for sub-Saharan African assets which focus on green technologies (solar, hydro, wind and geothermal). The Fund will seek to provide exits for green infrastructure developers across the continent to increase capital recycling and to allow international capital markets access to the African green infrastructure asset class through an eventual public flotation.
